NPR of America, Inc. is an industry leader providing premium piston rings to both the OEM and Aftermarket business segments. Currently, our Aftermarket Sales Group in Buena Park, CA is seeking to add a position to the team. We are seeking to hire an Export Sales Specialist This person will help increase market share and meet targets within the assigned market segments with both current and new customer opportunities. The person's focus is to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and business growth on each engagement. This person does need to be bilingual in English/Spanish.**Core Responsibilities:•Responsible for business development and growth of accounts in the assigned market segments
and territories - mainly Mexico, Central America, South America.

  • Prepare all appropriate inputs for customers including product, price, terms and conditions, and
implement agreed-upon outcomes. Take charge in customer negotiations.

  • Prepare monthly and annual sales forecasts for each assigned account.
  • Prepare a variety of reports, proposals and presentations.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to profitably grow sales in
assigned accounts and in the assigned market segments.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and determine performance of each account and identify
opportunities for growth.

Know and understand the competition:
their policies, programs, strategies, pricing, strengths, and
weaknesses. Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and
respond accordingly.

  • Provide sales training, technical training and technical support for the customer base.
  • Visit customers, prospects, attend trade shows and other industry events.
  • Collaborate with other team members to address customer concerns, complaints, shipment
expectations, order status, collections and other issues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with export/import procedures and documentation.
  • College Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prepare professional business reports, correspondence and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills to deal effectively with
all levels of business contacts - internally and externally

  • Ability to travel 20% to 30% in the US and International (including overnight).
