    The Societal Impact division of CCL focuses on leadership development in four vertical areas of practice:
    K12 education, Higher Education, Nonprofit, and Population Health.

    The Development team works collaboratively with the different vertical directors, faculty, operations, and the CCL enterprise to provide high-quality, high-impact leadership solutions to our clients.

    Position Summary

    Combine your love of relationship-based sales and your passion for nonprofit work with the Client Partner (CP) role at CCL.

    This position is responsible for leading the triage and assignment of marketing qualified leads (MQLs), creating and maintaining a pipeline of leads, managing a portfolio of clients, and working as an integral member of the Societal Impact (SI) Development Group in service of CCL's mission and the missions of our nonprofit, education, and population health clients.

    The Client Partner focuses on selling to non-complex buyers, transactional licensed products, coaching, and off-the-shelf programs, while representing CCL's full portfolio and working alongside Strategic Client Partners and Portfolio Directors to cultivate and identify complex opportunities.

    This role interacts with clients and potential clients primarily through phone and e-mail, though some face-to-face interaction is required.

    The role may be entirely remote or on-site/hybrid at one of CCL's three Americas locations: Greensboro, NC; Colorado Springs, CO; San Diego, CA.

    The CP interacts with clients and potential clients through phone, email, and face-to-face interaction.
    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    Revenue Generation:


    Support Societal Impact revenue goals by effectively articulating CCL's purpose, mission, and values with clients, prospects, and partners, with a focus on organizations who are transactional and non-complex buyers.

    With the appropriate subject matter expert(s) involved, including SI Portfolio Directors, Faculty, and other enterprise SMEs, assesses client needs to determine desired learning outcomes.


    Prospecting and Lead Management:
    Act as lead Development Team member for incoming Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).

    Manage Societal Impact's Lead Assignment Dashboard, taking on leads to triage and evaluate, as well as assigning leads to other Development Team members as appropriate.

    Develop and implement client acquisition strategies in conjunction with CCL/SA marketing efforts.

    Account Management :

    Lead the buying process from contact to contract, working collaboratively with Portfolio Directors to achieve vertical strategies, goals, and revenue targets.

    Lead or participate in (depending on complexity or type of account) client relationship management teams including Operations, Faculty, and other SMEs, to create opportunities for client retention and growth.

    Capture critical account and pipeline information in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.

    Team Proposal Support :
    Support Development team in responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and custom work. Work with SI Portfolio Directors, Faculty, Operations, PDC, and Development Team to ensure timely, accurate and client-focused work.

    Work with Senior Project Manager to maintain catalog of proposals to ensure consistency and allow for future growth and development.

    Education
    BS/BA degree preferred
    Experience/Work Background
    3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer relationship management
    Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
    Strong business acumen and demonstrated sales mindset
    Selling skills required, consultative skills preferred
    Proactive and goal oriented
    Excellent presentation and communication skills (written & verbal)
    Excellent time/project management skills
    Ability to multi-task
    Collaborative; Relationship building skills
    Ability to work independently and as a part of cross-functional teams with limited supervision
    Skilled in Windows PC environment
    Database management (ability to mine and use data to support sales efforts)
    Strong client/prospect skills required (web, etc.)

    Pay and Benefits
    The hiring range for this role is starts at $75,000. Offer will be commensurate with relevant qualifications and professional experience.
