Responsibilities:


The Production Associate ensures correct quality control of materials and end products produced by WRT and oversees the quantities and types of materials used to create these products.

The production associate must verify that safety and standard operating procedures (SOP's) are followed as specified in the work orders.


Job Duties:


  • Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
  • Perform production tasks according to standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Complete daily assigned tasks to meet production volume and schedule.
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
  • Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.
  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
  • Rotate through all the tasks required in the liner production process.
  • Review work orders to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
  • Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
  • Ensure that the work environment is maintained clean, safe, and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:


  • Ability to read and measure products using a tape measure or ruler.
  • Sewing skills are a plus.
  • Prioritize and multitask in an effective way.
  • Knowledge to produce quality products consistently.
  • Able to understand/follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work unsupervised or with mínimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities.


While performing the duties of this position, the employee could be required to sit, climb stairs, manipulate objects, tools or controls.

Position could require moderate physical exertion and moving materials that weigh 10 to 20 pounds often and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period to operate equipment such as scissors, sewing machines, and similar machines.

Pay:
$17.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
