- Supervise the Arcadium Lithium supplier quality management initiative by leading the site quality team and collaborating with the Global Procurement team.
- Collaborate with the Global Procurement team to establish vital supplier agreements and procedures concerning external suppliers.
- Collaborate with Technology and Quality teams to outline process parameters and criteria to secure supplier process capability to fulfill product and process prerequisites.
- Assist the Global Quality Director in tracking and reporting on supplier product quality and performance through the monitoring of key performance indicators.
- Gather and evaluate supplier quality data to pinpoint process enhancement prospects within the supply chain, including involvement in Supplier Performance Review meetings with Global Procurement.
- Promote the adoption of customer-preferred methods for continuous improvement such as lean, six sigma, poke yoke, measurement system analysis and process failure mode and effect analysis.
- Lead the assessment and approval process for new supplier and existing supplier 4M changes (internal and external) by assessing manufacturing and technology capabilities.
- Conduct on-site supplier visits for supplier audits, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective actions for supplier quality issues in coordination with the Global Procurement Supplier Performance Management Program.
- Enhance suppliers and their processes to align with the requirements of our business and downstream product quality.
- Need Bachelor's in Engineering discipline. Preference for Chemical Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Must have a functional understanding of chemical processes / Packaging Processes to offer basic service and support to suppliers.
- Thorough understanding of APQP, PPAP and FMEA preferred.
- Extensive experience in quality engineering and collaboration with Quality Management System, specifically (ISO45001, ISO14001, IATF16949).
- Proficient in managing and communicating with suppliers to tackle issues
- Comprehension of manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with necessities like PPAP, DOE, process validation. for new raw material introduction.
- Capability to lead audits and approve new/present suppliers from a Quality perspective
- Tremendous ability to work in both traditional and matrixed organizations.
- Strong analytical abilities and skilled in Minitab for grasping statistical analysis preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills to effectively liaise with quality network, Manufacturing and technology organization.
- Ready to travel internationally.

Position Summary: The Supplier Quality Engineer is accountable for overseeing all aspects of the Supplier Quality Assurance function at Arcadium Lithium. They are in charge of ensuring that the manufactured products meet customer-specific quality standards necessary to minimize quality expenses and maximize customer satisfaction while guaranteeing adherence to procedures and processes. Additionally, this person will uphold the strength of product constructions post new product launches and provide technical support to ensure continuity and enhancement in supplier capability.
