Description
GMS is seeking an experienced Steamfitter in the Metro Baltimore MD Area


Location:
DC Metro Area


Type:
full time permanent position with the 602 Union


Pay:
$47 Per hour DOE + Excellent Benefits


The Steamfitter will be involved with and responsible for:

  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Reading blueprints and project plans to guide the work on site.
  • Managing the use of materials and equipment.
  • Reporting on progress and issues to the Area Superintendent and Project/Service Manager.

Position Requirements:


  • Journeymen License
  • OSHA 30
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Rigging Cert / Welding / Med Gas preferred but not required
  • 2+ Years of experience in a previous supervisory role
  • Able to communicate well with subordinates and lead from the front
