Landmark Hotel Group is seeking a
Business Travel Sales Manager for the_ _
_Holiday Inn Express _located at
_1813 W. Mercury Blvd, Hampton, VA 23666 _and
_ Hyatt Place _located at
_ 1905 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA 23666._

Core Responsibilities:


  • Manage locally negotiated rates with new and existing business accounts
  • Monitor client preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
  • Emphasis on direct outside sales calls in the market
  • Negotiate and close contracts to verify rooms and meeting space commitments
  • Confer with organizational members to accomplish work activities
  • Represent the organization in external relations
  • Contribute toward the development of appropriate goals and actions
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements
  • Establish and maintain interpersonal business relationships to facilitate work activities

Qualifications:


  • 23 years sales experience, preferably in hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Good attitude and work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
  • Operational/Service background or orientation
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage (catering)
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required
