Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Guard to join our team.
As an Armed Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling, monitoring, and controlling access to the premises.
Your primary goal will be to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure the protection of individuals and property.Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor surveillance equipment to detect and prevent security breaches
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Apprehend or detain individuals involved in criminal activity until law enforcement arrives
- Monitor and control access points, checking identification and verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Conduct routine inspections of security equipment to ensure proper functioning
Experience:
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or securityrelated field preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
- Strong conflict management skills
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
Skills:
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in highpressure situations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using security equipment and technology
