Experience Required: 0 to 6 months work experience in an industrial engineering (labor management analysis) capacity preferred
Retail industry work experience an asset
Education Desired:
Bachelors Degree, Industrial Engineering
Travel Required:
Weekly 0-20% (this position will require some travel, likely visiting a store once a week)
Technical Skills Required:
Advanced Excel skills, very strong analytical skills
Experience Desired:
Previous experience using various software such as: Logile Labor Management tool, Kronos (scheduling, Time & Attendance software)
Job Responsibilities
Maintain labor management systems across all operations, this is a large aspect of this position.
Develop, validate and maintain engineered standards through
MOST , a predetermined motion time system, and time study methodology.
Complete various studies, including work sampling, standards development, queue and congestion studies, and utilization studies.
Support and conduct analysis to determine improvement opportunities.
Take responsibility for method and workflow improvement identification.
Work with cross-functional project teams
