Description
The Shift Lead will work directly with the Owners of the restaurant to ensure all daily tasks are completed.They will assist both the FOH & BOH staff throughout their shift and will serve as the lead when an Owner is not present.
The shift lead must have high energy, a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, top notch customer service skills and care about food quality, food safety and teamwork.

Required Experience & Certifications:
- Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM)
- Minimum 2 years food service experience
- Minimum 1 year restaurant or retail supervisory experience
- Familiarity with TOAST POS a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Open and close restaurant following established processes
- Assist FOH staff to input orders, accept payments, organize/bag orders for customers, stock supplies, greet customers and maintain cleanliness of the store throughout the day
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and calmly
- Assist BOH staff with set up & closing the store performing a wide range of tasks as needed
- Monitor inventory and prepare shopping lists
- Receive incoming deliveries and check for accuracy
- Count drawers and follow proper daily cash handling procedures
- Follow food safety practices and ensure restaurant cleanliness
- Promote a fun and positive work environment
- Physically be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Work in both warm and cool environments
