GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:


As a Spa Desk Attendant, you have the opportunity to greet each guest upon arrival, assist with registration, and offer additional services and amenities.

Attendant must have excellent communication skills and ability to maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged standing and or sitting for up to 8 hours. Considered applicants will be able to lift up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.


SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To greet each guest upon arrival.
  • To inform the guest of services, treatments, classes and activities.
  • To adhere to procedures for guests participating in services including; a la carte hotel guests, day package guests, conference groups, spa package participants as well as local clientele.
  • To check and confirm appointments for spa services and follow up with the treatment staff when addons occur via Springer Miller scheduling program.
  • To carefully, but expeditiously, explain ticketing procedures to all paying guest and to confirm the method of closing the transaction.
  • To explain the gratuity system to guests.
  • To keep daily records accurately and neatly.
  • To adhere to; cash, credit card and billing transactions and procedures established by the Accounting Department.
  • To adhere to proper cash handling procedures; opening, closing, cashing out and balancing.
  • To perform opening and closing procedures as dictated by the SOPs.
  • To price and tag retail items according to SOPs.
  • To keep retail area clean and straight at all times according to SOPs.
  • To greet each customer as they enter and offer to provide assistance with retail items.
  • To assist therapist in retail sales of product lines.
  • To learn and retain product knowledge regarding all merchandise.
  • To wrap or bag merchandise for customers according to SOPs.
  • To; keep record of sales, prepare inventory of stock and merchandise orders to be place by Spa Director.
  • To maintain a regular schedule as defined and overtime as required.
  • To maintain; a clean work station, staff and guest schedules, a neat and professional appearance at all times.
