Tri County Animal Rescue is hiring
Join our team as a Kennel Assistant to provide care and support for our furry friends in a compassionate environment.
Duties:
- Assist in the daily care of animals including feeding, watering, and walking
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and common areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any health concerns to the veterinary staff
- Provide basic grooming and bathing as needed
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Interact with pet owners, providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or related field preferred
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both animals and pet owners
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of veterinary practices or willingness to learn
Pay:
$ $15.00 per hour
