Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:30am until 4:00pm

The Woodlands Christian Academy, ubicada en The Woodlands, Texas, buscando bilingües individuos bilingües apasionados por la educación cristiana.

Requisitos:

- ser cristiano comprometido,
- tener formación académica (ser maestro de educación primaria o español),
- ser hablante nativo del español (o tener un nível muy alto del español) y proficiente en el inglés.


Professional Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Education from country of native language
  • Native Spanish speaker and proficient in English
  • 3+ years' experience teaching
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to teach creatively

Responsibilities:


  • Create lesson plans for each class based on your experience and the students' specific needs
  • Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to vocalize their concerns and questions
  • Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students' progress and behavior
  • Join the rotation of Teachers who assist with startofday and endofday student care procedures
  • Organize students into small groups for social education
  • Encourage creativity in students by organizing art and craft projects on a daily basis
  • Create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom
  • Oversee lunch and recess
  • Listen carefully to parents' requests and concerns and address them as quickly as possible

Additional Qualifications:


  • Possess a strong Christian testimony and be an active member of a Biblebelieving church.
  • Commit to personal spiritual development.
  • Serve as a positive Christian role model to students and pursue Christlike behavior.
  • Be a responsible steward of TWCA's resources and personally support TWCA's fundraising efforts at a level as able.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:


  • Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Work in standard office conditions and climate.
  • Work in varied extreme outside weather conditions during special activities and fundraising events, as needed.
  • Perform in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
  • Sit and stand for extended periods of time; bend, stoop, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
  • Hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels, outdoors and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms, outdoors, and on the telephone.

$55, $65,000.00 per year
