Summary


The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings is looking for a
full-time Receptionist to work at our Deacon location in Harleysville, PA.

Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth by The Macomb Group as well as in the current procedures manual.

Answers the main switchboard in addition to providing general administrative support.


Responsibilities

  • Greets all visitors in a courteous manner and contacts the appropriate person that the visitor has arrived.
  • Assists in preparing completed invoices for mailing.
  • Typing, sorting, filing and any other general office duties, as needed.
  • Process all incoming mail by opening and stamping.
  • Coordinates Service Award Luncheon twice a year.
  • Maintains and updates company welcome board in lobby.
  • Maintains and updates Company training log.
  • Supports Marketing and Human Resource Projects.
  • Coordinates all companywide charitable campaigns.
  • Coordinates all catering needs for the Company.
  • Creates quarterly newsletter.
  • Maintains MTR documentation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, quotations, work instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to interpret and respond to routine correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
