Description

WKW has an opportunity for a Robot Technician position on the 3rd shift.
Hours: 10pm-6am Monday-Friday, with potential overtime

Compensation:
$26-$40/hour - based on expertise and skills

Description:

Diagnose problems in robotic systems, utilizing understanding of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensors, hydraulics, or pneumatics.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose issues with robotic systems, employing knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensors, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
Identify causes of operational malfunctions.
Dismantle and reassemble robots or associated equipment for repairs like replacing faulty circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, and servo meters.
Conduct routine or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or parts. Manage electromechanical equipment.
Keep maintenance records of robotic equipment or automated production systems.
Set up, adjust, or fix programmable controllers, robot controllers, endofarm tools, or conveyors.
Record robotics testing processes and outcomes.
Fit, align, or assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, templates, or microscopes.
Connect wires between controllers.
Evaluate performance of robotic assemblies using devices like oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges
Develop optimal robotic motions to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
Adjust computer-controlled robot movements.
Instruct clients or other staff on robot installation, operation, or upkeep.
Construct or put together robotic devices or systems.
Program sophisticated robotic systems, such as vision systems
Investigate installation locations.
Set up new robotic systems in fixed positions or on tracks.
Train robots using AI software or interactive training methods to complete simple or complex tasks, like conducting a series of tests on chemical samples.
Manage inventories of production materials like sensors and cables.
Produce housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures, with metalworking equipment.
Create 3D simulations of automation systems
Other assigned tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; preferable associate degree in Robot Technology.
Previous experience with Fanuc robots desired
At least 2 years of experience as a Robot Technician.
Proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Skilled in using manual and power tools.
Capable of working overtime.
Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) for IATF standards and Environmental Management System (EMS) for ISO

Compensation:
$40.00 per hour
