    Job Description:
    We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance/Make Ready Technician to join our team on a temporary-to-hire basis.

    As a crucial member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and upkeep of our apartment community, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Maintenance Tasks:

    Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC systems, and other fixtures within the apartments and common areas.


    Make Ready Work:

    Prepare apartments for new residents by completing all necessary repairs, painting, cleaning, and any other tasks required to ensure the unit is in top condition.


    Inspections:
    Conduct regular inspections of apartments and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.

    Emergency Response:
    Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours calls, to resolve issues and ensure resident safety and satisfaction.

    Record Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inventory, and expenses.

    Communication:
    Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and other staff members to coordinate maintenance tasks and address resident concerns.

    Safety Compliance:
    Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.

    Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance techniques.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Good communication and customer service skills.

    Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.

    High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
