Description
Luxury furniture showroom and interior design studio is looking for an experienced Customer Service professional to join our team. Operations and Administrative experience necessary. Fun, relaxed environment working independently within a small team.Requirements:
- Prior Customer Service experience in a retail environment, management or operations experience in a small business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in Interior Design/Home Furnishings is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Client followup; track each customer order from sale to delivery, including tracking all pending orders and communicating updates from manufacturers with clients and colleagues.
- Process and record customer payments.
- Organize customer paperwork and maintain records.
- Prepare monthly sales summaries in Excel.
- Responsible for documenting any freight damage, liasing with the vendor and freight company to get merchandise repaired/replaced.
- Maintain an aesthetically pleasing showroom experience for clients, ensuring all inventory is tagged and well placed
