Tasks and Process

As a toolmaker, you are the specialist in our tool and mold making department. You manufacture die-casting tools and also repair them. You produce spare parts made of metal or plastic using computer-controlled CNC machines. During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything you need for the production and maintenance of tools and equipment in stamping and forming technology. Before you create your first workpieces on the machine, you will be taught manual machining processes such as reaming, thread cutting, sawing, and filing. With this apprenticeship, you will gain a broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques, which will pave the way for a successful career.
