Job Requirements:

Required: High School Grad or Equivalent
-
Required: Clinical - <1 year
-
Required: De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.

Required: BLS certification within 90 days of hire for all incumbents.

New incumbents must have one of the following in addition to the minimum Education:

As an
Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) with Sentara, you can work in either inpatient or outpatient Emergency Department settings.

This role is a great gateway to begin your career in the medical field. This position's primary responsibilities include lab draws, EKGs, and assisting the nurses and doctors with patient care.
