Job Description:


The Tree and Plant Health Care Foreman is responsible for leading a team of Plant Health Care technicians in the maintenance and care of trees and plants.

In addition to supervisory duties, the Foreman actively participates in performing tree and plant health care tasks alongside the team.

This hands-on approach ensures that work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the tree and plant health care team.
  • Provide guidance and training to technicians on proper tree care techniques, including pesticide treatments, fertilizing, and disease management.
  • Assess and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion of tasks according to client needs and company standards.
  • Monitor the health of trees and plants, identifying signs of pests, diseases, or other issues requiring attention.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure its proper use and safety by team members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or questions regarding tree and plant care.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including treatment plans, materials used, and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with arborists, landscape designers, and other professionals as needed to enhance the health and appearance of landscapes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and relevant regulations related to tree and plant health care.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in tree care, horticulture, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
  • Proficiency in tree and plant health care techniques, including pruning, pest management, and fertilization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Pay:
$ $250.00 per day
