    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Xerxes Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering projects under the mentorship of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying sales leads through the use of online bid platforms and conducting market research to support strategic business decisions.

    DUTIES:

    • Lead Identification and Qualification: Utilize online bid platforms such as ConstructConnect and other similar tools to identify potential sales leads for civil engineering projects, including scope, timeline, and material takeoffs to qualify leads.
    • Collaboration: Work with sales team to prepare quotations for qualified leads.
    • Market Research: Leverage the research functionality of bid platforms to gather and analyze market data, trends, and competitive information.
    • Report Preparation: Compile market research findings from bid platforms and market research into comprehensive reports to support the sales and business development teams.
    • Technical Support: Assist in preparing technical documents and presentations for prospective clients based on qualified leads.
    • Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to lead generation
