- Listen to customer's needs and help them determine the service, repair or maintenance that is necessary for their vehicle.
- Accurately estimate the cost of services and the needed time to complete the job.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide written estimates for services and parts costs.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Explain services to customers and answer their questions in person and by phone.
- Follow-up with customers after services have been performed to ensure satisfaction.
- Follow dealership policies and procedures in all areas: customer service, safety, and cleanliness in the service areas and vehicles.
- Prior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or equivalent position in the Automotive Service Industry. CDJR experience is suggested but not required
- Ability to efficiently manage tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to determine accurate repair and service needs for customers.
- Good understanding of automotive products and services.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
