Position Summary: The Quality Returns Auditor will work in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Manager to support both internal and supplier conformance to the standards of the Quality Management System. The ideal candidate will process product returns and information while supporting the warehouse staff and other departments. The Quality Returns Auditor must be an individual who can lift heavy products, stand for the entire shift, cycle count, and MUST Have Returns Experience.

Duties/Responsibilities include the following:

• Perform receiving inspection per the established supplier audit program.
• Unpack returned merchandise, inspect package condition and assess paperwork sent in with return instructions for proper return procedures.
• Inspect returned merchandise, checking for quality and condition of the product to determine return category.
• Input clear customer account notes in internal computer systems, communicating return reasons, customer feedback, and instructions to ensure accurate processing.
• Process incoming returns and perform initial returned product evaluation.
• Perform sampled random audits of custom labeling, packaging, and assembly processes.
• Perform sampled random audits of outbound shipments.
• Assist with the completion of the internal audit schedule.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain daily communication with the Quality Manager in regard to trends and potential issues.
• Assist the Quality Manager in supporting control of Quality System documentation and quality records.
• Assist assembly and warehouse functions as time permits.

Education and/or Experience and Other Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience; preferably in a prior quality position
• Previous experience performing quality inspections.
• Ability to perform dimensional inspections using a micrometer and other hand measurement tools.
• Ability to read and understand procedures, work instructions, product specifications, inspection standards, and sampling charts.
• Must be able to lift to 35 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
• Ability to work independently under his/her initiative.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Proficient with MS Outlook email

Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour
