Reports-to: Maintenance/Housekeeping Manager


FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt

  • Seasonal

Days/Hours:5 days a week. Schedule will vary. _
Must be flexible on schedule to possibly include weekends. _

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:


  • Previous 12 year maintenance/building services, preferable in hotel/restaurant environment.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks without close supervision.
  • Willingness to help out in all areas of the Clubhouse.
  • Ability to communicate over the radio in English. Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
  • Ability to understand and follow all safety related rules at all times while doing assigned tasks.
  • Ability to handle the physical aspects of the job, long periods of standing, lifting, bending, twisting, etc.
  • Self Time Management Skills.
  • Must be able to work night shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

JOB DUTIES
-
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS/ ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:Maintain and make general repairs to plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical system, appliances and building structure of the club.
Conduct plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes, faucets and clogged drains.

Perform various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, service to refrigerators and ice makers.
Assist in repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, drainage and pumping.
Collaborate in keeping the work shop areas safe, clean and well-lighted.
Participate with preparation of special functions, parties, tournaments, etc., by installing decoration and constructing display pieces.
In case of emergency, identify the area and learn to operate alarm panels.
Organize and help maintain inventory.
Adhere to the Country Club's lost and found procedures in finding items in member, guest and employee areas.
Adhere to the Country Club's two-way radio procedures when talking on the radio. Follow procedure for checking out and returning the radio. Wear the radio on designated channel for receiving radio contact.
Follow all Clubhouse and department safety rules as instructed by manager or Safety Director. Report any safety hazard immediately.
Driver utility cart in safe manner to carry / deliver debris / supplies, etc.

Other duties as assigned which may include performing duties other than those listed in this position description in the Maintenance Department or other department in the Club.
