Rate:
$50-55/hr on W2 or $60-65/hr on C2C to their own Inc

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Software Engineer to join our clients' team in Houston, TX.

As a React Software Engineer, you will work on developing and maintaining software applications and systems that support our IT operations.

You will be responsible for developing and deploying high-quality software solutions using ReactJS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.

As a senior member of the team, the ideal candidate will also be responsible for knowledge-sharing, and guiding some of the more junior developers on the team.

The ideal candidate should have a good amount of experience in software engineering with a focus on React with a strong understanding of front-end development.

The ability to think outside of the box and creatively solve problems is critical for this position. This role requires the candidate to work on-site at our clients' office in Downtown, Houston.

Responsibilities:

Work with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop software solutions to meet those requirements.
Develop and maintain software applications and systems using ReactJS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
Create clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
Follow best practices for software development and contribute to the improvement of the software development process.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related experience
Several years experience in software development, with a focus on front-end development using ReactJS and JavaScript
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Knowledge of software design patterns and principles
Experience with Git and other version control systems
Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Willingness to effectively convey complex technical concepts and ideas, and to foster an environment of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Experience working in the Oil and Gas industry or other industrial settings is a plus
Familiarity with IT technologies such as networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing is a plus
Experience with back-end technologies such as and SQL databases is a plus
