Job Title: React Developer

Location: Chicago, IL 60604 – 3 days onsite per week

Duration: 06 Months possibility of extension - There could be extension beyond that, but depends on budget approvals

Skillset:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is highly preferred
• 5-7+ years of proven experience as a React Developer with a strong portfolio of accessible web applications.
• In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG and Section 508
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in accessibility (e.g., IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) is a plus.

Additional Notes from Lori:

• The team has a lot of accessibility changes that need to take place. They had a team do an audit to outline what they need to do to make those changes, so a tentative recommended solution has been put in place. They now need someone to implement the recommended solution and do the development work tied to those items.
• MUST be an independent worker
• They are double A compliant, so need someone who has working knowledge of accessibility
• They do test React skills and this person will have to code for the assessment - something for candidates to be aware of
