    Description
    Job Description Overview The GBS Group, an engineering services and consulting firm, is seeking an Install Technician to support our growing technology business in Washington DC
    The GBS Group is a commercial and government engineering services firm with a variety of contract types
    This position will focus on our commercial business with the schedule of Monday - Friday
    Responsibilities include but are not limited to


    • Drilling through stainless steel brackets for mounting of components
    • Disassembling and reassembling vehicle's exterior body parts and interior panels
    • Properly mounting and securing components to vehicles
    • Routing wires and cabling into vehicles
    • Documenting all work completed on work orders accurately
    Maintaining a clean, organized and safe working area Qualifications Candidates must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:


    • Minimum of 5 years of mechanical installation work, including drilling and mounting of components
    • Must have a proficiency using basic hand and power tool
    • Must be flexible enough for periodic travel and stay overnight when required
    • Must be able to pass security clearance check as some access to secure locations may be necessary
    • Must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test and have a clean driver's record
