    About the Team:


    Relativity's Integrated Performance teams ensure that our products work across all systems and disciplines, from trajectory design to aerodynamics to reliability analysis and beyond.

    Our groups size the Terran R rocket, design its missions for customer success, reliability, and reusability, and ensure that every system on the rocket and ground is engineered correctly for the demanding environments of launch and entry.

    Recently, we completed the preliminary design and analysis of Terran R including Relativity's first-ever work on launch vehicle reusability, spanning advanced trajectory simulations, wind tunnel testing, and structures analysis, among many other projects.


    About the Role:

    You will be responsible for:
    Developing software needed to set up a simulation environmentSimulation sequences/scheduler and logging toolsDeveloping visualization toolsDeveloping Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and automationDeveloping simulation interfaces with hardware testingRunning analysis that captures complex software and physics interactions

    About You:


    You will be working on a wide range of projects developing end-end solutions with a high level of independence and ownership.


    An undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/MS/PhD) in engineering or related field0-2 years of software engineering experienceHigh proficiency with compiled languages (e.

    g C++, Rust) & scripted languages (Python)Experience implementing software development practices and workflows such as Docker, continuous integration (CI), & continuous deployment (CD) workflowsExperience interfacing software with hardware in the loop testing (HITL)Nice to haves but not required:

    Experience using and developing numerical solvers (Numerical optimization routines, ODE/PDE solvers, etc)Experience interfacing with cross-disciplinary software and hardware teams to drive software requirementsExperience developing high-performance physics or math-simulating environmentsHigh-level knowledge of launch vehicle-related software systemsPrior work in a startup or agile development environment
