- Leading projects in threat characterization and radar modeling.
- Co-leading studies to project threat systems based on validated intelligence.
- Mentoring early career staff.
- Managing the development of the Advanced Sensor Performance Evaluation & Concept Toolkit.
- Deploying Aerospace tools and frameworks with government customers.
- Enhancing expertise in algorithm design and problem-solving.
- Masters degree in engineering or science.
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Experience in systems engineering analysis of radars and space surveillance systems.
- Background in statistics, estimation, controls, or signal processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as FORTRAN, C++, Matlab, Python, Java, or C.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Current and active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Minimum 12 years of applicable experience.
- Ph.D. degree in engineering or science.
- Experience with radar design and technology insertion.
- Knowledge of the Engineering and Technology Group's technical capabilities.

About the Job
This job listing is for a position in the Systems Engineering Division of a reputable company that provides top-level systems engineering services.
The Systems Engineering Division offers a wide range of services to various entities, including the U.S. government, public and private organizations, universities, non-profits, and commercial companies. Their expertise covers areas such as systems architecture, astrodynamics, orbital debris, navigation, mission assurance, and more.
The selected candidate will be part of the Systems Performance, Estimation and Algorithms Department (SPEAD) where they will work on algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and analysis for national security space customers. They will also provide project leadership in threat characterization and radar modeling and simulation.
This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and a deep understanding of systems engineering principles.
