- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals, driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior management, advising on HR matters and contributing to business decisions with a people-focused approach.
- Lead or participate in strategic HR projects and initiatives such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee engagement surveys, process improvements, or HR technology implementations.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs, providing strategic HR advice and driving initiatives to support departmental objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of HR solutions to address talent management, organizational design, succession planning, and change management needs.
- Oversee complex employee relations matters, guiding the HR team in managing investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and resolution of workplace disputes.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures while promoting a positive employee relations climate.
- Lead HR compliance efforts, staying abreast of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring policies and practices adhere to legal requirements.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures, conduct audits, and implement initiatives to mitigate compliance risks.
- Provide leadership and direction to the HR team, overseeing their performance, professional development, and ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the HR department, promoting teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design and implementation of performance management processes, providing guidance on goal setting, performance evaluations, and talent development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and facilitate learning opportunities for the HR team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Develop and analyze HR metrics and reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making on HR-related matters.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the HR function.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6 - 8 years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience in a leadership or director-level role, preferably within the oil and gas industry or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
