    Job Description

    Fox Factory is seeking experienced business development representatives (BDRs) and sales development representatives (SDRs) who look at the opportunity to make outbound contacts with excitement rather than fear. This is a full-time remote position that will allow you to work flexibly from home with very limited travel. As a Business Development Manager, you will be making outbound contacts to active, inactive and prospective franchise dealers with the goal of growing Fox Factory Performance Vehicle Development's market share and providing our dealer partners worldclass customer service. What makes this position better than your run-of-of-the-mill BDR position?
    • No suspecting - We know who our prospects are (OEM franchise dealers that sell Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Jeep, Nissan and Ram makes).
    • A well-known brand - In most cases, you won't waste time on the phone explaining who Fox Factory is as we command almost 20% market share and are the industry volume leader in the performance truck and SUV upfit segment.
    • No worn-out prospects - Our Senior Manager of Sales Operations is building this department from the ground up meaning the prospects you are assigned to call on are ripe for the selling.
    • Variability of contacts - This is not a pure prospecting position. If you are good on the phone and writing emails then you will not only get to grow the business via prospecting but also work with our active dealers to ensure they are completely satisfied.
    Who is this job for? - This role is best for a proven business to business (B2B) salesperson with success as an outbound business development representative (BDR) or sales development representative (SDR) under their belt. If your success came from being organized, managing time well, utilizing excellent listening skills, having meticulous attention to detail and accuracy then this role is built for you Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be vital to your success along with the ability to navigate basic industry-standard technology such as Microsoft's suite of products, CRMs and web portals. A positive attitude, being coachable, meeting deadlines and the ability to be flexible will be keys to your job satisfaction.

    What will I do? - As a Business Development Manager, you will be making outbound contacts to active, inactive and prospective franchise dealers with the goal of growing Fox Factory Performance Vehicle Development's market share and providing our dealer partners worldclass customer service. You will do this by building value and selling our branded vehicles to decision makers at Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Ram, Jeep and Nissan franchise dealerships. Can't close the deal over the phone or using email? Not a problem We have some of the best sales managers in the field that will meet face-to-face with your contacts to ensure no revenue opportunity goes unworked. Need a break from prospecting? Works for us You will be on the frontlines of ensuring our active dealer partners have a worldclass experience by proactively answering their administrative, product and customer service questions.

    Where will I live? - Wherever you want within reason This is a home-based role which will require you to work the hours that franchise dealerships are open and be regularly available during the day to communicate with your team leader. Once up and running, the hours can be flexible and scheduled around your commitments. Quarterly travel to Fox Factory facilities or other areas may occur for training, teambuilding or administrative purposes.
