Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise, mentor, and guide Quality Clinic Investigation Managers and Cline Leads
  • Provide oversight and be accountable for the Escape Management Process for Cold Section Module Center (CSMC):
  • Military and commercial Customer Return Process and Q1QN processing
  • Problem Resolution Team (PRTs) for internal and external product quality escapes
  • Clinic Assists for high pain organizational issues (Cost, delivery, quality, EH&S, etc.)
  • Be the expert in PW Product Recall Escape Management process and Quality Clinic Systems
  • Strong ability to understand and accurately execute requirements of PW , PW 8.2.1, PW , and all other relevant QRSW and standard work.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to PRT teams to reach timely and effective resolution of SDO/FPN/RTR.
  • Drive personal and core clinic team improvement in RCCA proficiency.
  • Train and drive RCCA competency for crossfunctional teams that include manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, operations, and materials management.
  • Enhance CSMC Quality Clinic efficiency and posture, while maintaining full Clinic Certification
  • Maintain personal and team CORE discipline and certification.
  • Assist and provide support to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits of CSMC Quality Clinic system.
  • Oversee management of aged, restricted inventory on PPX inspection lots to keep under established threshold.
  • Oversee publication of Clinic, Escape Metrics, and Control Tower Metrics.
  • Participate in Quality Clinic and RCCA Discipline process improvement events.
  • Foster and maintain cooperative relationship with Core Quality, Program Quality, QACS, Product Recall, EDSI, CSE/CTS/CS&IS, DCMA, and leverage clinic to clinic interactions across the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in technical field required (e.g., Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations).
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Operations and/or Engineering with a minimum of 5 years in the aerospace industry.
  • Proven Project Management experience in a fastpaced, high stress manufacturing environment.
  • Strong familiarity with the 8D investigation process, DAMIC, Root Cause Corrective Actions, 5Why, and Fault Tree will be required.
  • High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership and associates at all levels through the organization and external customers.
  • Strong Knowledge of nonconforming material management processes.
  • US citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in technical field required (e.g., Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations).
  • 12+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Operations and/or Engineering with a minimum of 5 years in the aerospace industry.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and/or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence.
  • PMI Project Management Professional.
  • CORE Champion and JCL
  • Certification in Red-X / 6 Sigma / similar data driven problem solving approach preferred.
  • Working proficiency in SAP is preferred.
