Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Research experience in cell or molecular biology
  • Experience with cell culture, microscopy, purifying recombinant proteins, and molecular biology

Responsibilities:

-
Research Experiments:Executes research experiments and analyzes results, using cell and molecular biology, microscopy, and some biochemistry.
-
Lab Duties:General laboratory duties such as purchasing supplies, model organism maintenance, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Documentation:Maintains an accurate laboratory notebook, writes manuscripts, presents findings, and contributes to grant proposals.

Training:Trains new personnel on lab procedures and p erforms other duties as assigned.
