    Join this prominent global firm renowned for its excellence in engineering and construction services. They are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer with a specialization in decarbonization initiatives. In this pivotal role, the ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of state-of-the-art solutions aimed at mitigating carbon emissions across various industries. Working closely with a highly skilled team, you'll contribute from the initial ideation phase through to project completion, driving forward sustainable energy solutions.

    Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

    • Collaborate with the project team during the design and construction phases, adjusting plans based on budget, design criteria, or client preferences.
    • Carry out process design tasks from initial concepts to final designs.
    • Review and amend production drawings for various projects, such as hydrogen production facilities, power plants, and more.
    • Design process components according to project requirements set by project managers.
    • Apply solid knowledge of standard process engineering principles and practices.
    • Gather and organize project-related data as needed.
    • Verify and update drawings using CAD software.
    • Familiarize yourself with decarbonization technologies and equipment manufacturers.
    • Compile information for client presentations, review shop drawings, and manage contracts for decarbonization projects.
    • Conduct field inspections, measurements, or calculations for both public and private clients.
    • Complete any other tasks assigned to you.

    Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
    • Preferably completed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
    • 7+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in consulting.
    • Experience in industries such as LNG, hydrogen production, carbon capture, power generation, or water & wastewater treatment is a plus, but not required.
    • A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering can substitute for 1 year of experience.
    • Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
    • Strongly prefer passing the PE exam.
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with process simulation software like AFT Fathom, Hysys, Aspen, and HTRI is advantageous.
    • Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
