Metropolitan Properties is looking for an experienced Property Manager familiar with Los Angeles Rent Stabilization (LARSO) and must speak and write in English and Spanish.

Property Manager will oversee a private portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate in Los Angeles.

The position is in office with site visits will be required at least 1x/ week and for leasing and inspections.


Duties:


  • Oversee the daily operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
  • Manage the leasing process, including advertising available units, conducting property tours, and screening potential tenants
  • Ensure all leases and other property documents are properly executed and maintained
  • Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling and supervising contractors
  • Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Enforce lease terms and policies, including rent collection and lease renewals
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is wellmaintained and in compliance with safety regulations
  • Pay bills, prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for properties

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Property Manager or similar role
  • Proficient in property management software such as Appfolio
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance and repair processes
  • Familiarity with fair housing regulations and real estate administrative procedures
  • Excellent conflict management and problemsolving skills
  • Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on tenant satisfaction
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish
