This is a new role within the supply chain function of a FMCG business which will support significant business growth. You will support the Procurement function to develop manufacturing partners, identify cost saving initiatives and achieve best in class service value.
**Key areas of responsibility:**
Assess value proposition and effective landed costs for products manufacturing
Support the process of finding new partners for product manufacturing contracts
Able to identify, assess and develop factories to achieve the best manufacturing performance
Support tendering processes and prepare associated data analysis
Support cost modelling work for key product lines
Manage supplier price lists and take part of the pricing negotiations
**Key Skills:**
Degree in Product Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
3 years in product development or manufacturing process development
2 to 3 years of experience of project management or purchasing/procurement
Good manufacturing knowledge and ability to assess factories performance and skills
Ability to work autonomously & independently
Good negotiation skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to analyse data and make relevant recommendations
Both technical and business mindsets
Ability to speak eastern European language (Romanian, Polish or Hungarian) would be an advantage
