Position Overview:

Clinton Electronics is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our growing Technical Support team.

In this role, you will work closely with our dealers and their field technicians to provide product support, troubleshooting, problem-solving, training, and occasionally, sales support.

Success in this role requires extensive experience in customer service, problem escalation/resolution, and a solid understanding of networking principles and IP communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related hardware and software.
• Assist clients with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Perform remote diagnostics and repairs when possible.
• Collaborate with the installation team to resolve complex technical issues.
• Document all support activities, including customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in Jira Service Management.
• Stay uptodate with the latest developments in CCTV technology and security solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on the effective use of their CCTV systems.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective support.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in technical support, particularly with CCTV systems or related field.
• Strong understanding of video technology, networking, and software.
• Extensive understanding of networking principles and IP communication.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware/network equipment.
• Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
• Ability to solve complex problems and find solutions independently.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay:
$40, $60,000.00 per year
