The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Track Builder / Civil Engineering Specialist (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Koblenz.

The vocational school for the first year is also located in Koblenz, while the training workshop and vocational school for the second and third year are in Ludwigshafen.

During your apprenticeship, you will work with a team on construction sites, maintaining and repairing our railway tracks and switches.

You will also be responsible for checking for any faults and replacing damaged parts.

Additionally, you will be involved in renewing the stones and gravel layers under the tracks, using modern machinery to make the work easier.

Your attention to detail will ensure a smooth and safe train journey for our passengers.

To be successful in this role, you should have completed or be close to completing your education.

You should also prefer working outdoors rather than in an office, be reliable and dedicated, enjoy working in a team, and be willing to work at different locations and times, including night shifts.
