Description
"The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 professions nationwide who want to become even better with us.

We are looking for you for a 3-year apprenticeship as a train controller (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Großkorbetha or Merseburg location.

The vocational school is located in Schkeuditz. If certain requirements are met, we will support you with longer travel distances (for example, financially).
With this apprenticeship, you will become a coordinator for our trains. Instead of being on the train, you will be in a control center (called a "signal box"). We have countless signal boxes throughout Germany.

Through screens or boards, you can observe the trains in your area and use buttons, keys, and levers to influence their journey.

With the push of a button, you can set signals (traffic lights for the trains) to green or red and also switch tracks so that the trains can change tracks.

Many other tasks make you the most important team member for the train drivers. You are constantly in contact and exchange information, for example, about changes during the journey.
With your small team, you will work in the Greater Großkorbetha/Merseburg area or in the Großkorbetha/Merseburg region at a signal box close to
