- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Manage a Bidders list during the buyout process of multiple projects
- Ensure bid documents comply with contract requirements
- Handle contracts, purchase orders, and agreements to meet project needs
- Monitor MBE/WBE/SBE utilization and identify risks
- Determine labor and equipment costs
- Understand project logistics and schedules for accurate bid preparations
- Analyze subcontract and supplier bids, and make recommendations
- Interface with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Develop cost models and track material/labor prices
- Identify marketplace escalation factors
- Support preconstruction and business development efforts
- Oversee Business Unit Purchasing activities
- Provide training, evaluate performance, and set goals for team
- Develop departmental budget and manage projects
- Assist with resource allocation and strategic planning
- Coordinate purchasing requirements with operations
- Manage Purchasing teams and Trade Partner relationships
- Represent Gilbane at industry events and within the vendor community
- Ensure compliance with local union jurisdictional rules
- Lead teams towards common goals
