    As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Rover in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce incidents. You will respond to alarms and unusual activity, document security-related observations, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors.     What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
    • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
    • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
    • Control access to restricted areas and cash handling zones by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization, and observing for suspicious behavior.
    • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate key observations during shift transitions, and assist with investigations by preserving observations and available information.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
    • Have an armed guard card and/or license.
    • Be 21+ years of age.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
