Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Rover in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering helpful customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following site-specific, security-related procedures and policies at a government location and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to supervisors and/or public agency contacts as required.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and direct employees, visitors, and vendors to appropriate areas.

Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate updates during shift turnover to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
