AKABA LLC. welcomes reliable and enthusiastic professionals to join us as a part-time ABA Techs or Behavior Therapists.

Our dynamic ABA therapists provide 1-to-1 ABA services in the homes, centers, and community settings. We work with individuals aged 2-22 diagnosed with Autism (ASD) to help them reach meaningful goals.


Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$20 -$23 per hour to start -pay increases by $1-$3 over a 3-6 month period


Travel:
Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible. Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).

Free RBT Course
We welcome RBT applicants seeking supervision opportunities for Career Advancement. RBTs start at $22/hour and up.


Hours: 1:1 case matching allows us to create a custom schedule based on your availability, experiences, and our client's needs. During the school year, sessions are usually on weekdays in the after-school hours, but the exact timing is flexible and based on client assignments. Weekend shifts may also be available but are not required.


Qualifications:

ABA Tech or Behavior Therapist applicants should enjoy working with children and have an interest in the Psychology field.

Knowledge of and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus, but not a requirement.

Additional qualifications for an ABA Tech or Behavior Therapist include:


  • Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with children.
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism)
  • Ability to attend an initial orientation.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (after school hours between 38 p.m.)
  • Has reliable transportation access to a personal vehicle. Some of our clients require transport to the center and/or other community activities.
  • Must be timely and organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations

Responsibilities:
The ABA Tech or Behavior Therapist will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and will be directly responsible for

  • Data collection
  • Implementing individualized behavior support plans
  • Implementing skill acquisition programs
  • Working with families for effective collaboration on client
  • Submitting all required paperwork promptly
  • Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor
