JOB PURPOSE:


This is an exciting opportunity to join a team leading business and digital transformation across the Commercial Business organization and Global McDonald's Business Unit (MBU) working with strategic global customers at McCain Foods.

This leadership role brings extensive experience working with top-tier global customers and leading complex digital transformation initiatives that create mutual value and benefit.


As part of the MBU senior leadership team, you will actively participate in customer-facing meetings to define and contribute to the digital plans for McDonald's, one of our largest global customers.

You will engage at a senior level in McDonald's Supplier Digital Advisory Group (SDAG) to lead initiatives and plan together to deliver programs.

Additionally, you will prepare for and attend monthly team meetings and working sessions with the customer (McDonald's).


We seek an experienced digital and technology leader with proven commercial experience working with global strategic customer account teams and senior level commercial business leaders.

The customer digital lead will be a thought leader working with customers globally including McDonald's to drive digital enablement and enhance ways of working to meet customer needs and create efficiencies to deliver value.

As a core member of the Global McDonald's Business Unit (MBU), you will shape a vision and create value with digital solutions that simplify, enhance and strengthen our partnership with the customer.


Working across McCain, you will collaborate with cross-functional regional and global organizations to define and deliver digital capabilities in support of our customers.

In close partnership with global digital data & analytics teams at McCain, you will lead data strategy initiatives to define the roadmap for data and advance analytics to support MBU and the customer.

You will work together with MBU, the customer, and other stakeholders to document requirements and objectives to create roadmaps and deliver solutions.


As a thought leader, you will collaborate with McDonald's and McCain's MBU to shape the strategy and opportunities to advance collective goals for the customer and internal McCain business.

You will actively engage in external industry forums to bring future thinking into our strategy.


This role will initially focus on McDonald's but can expand to additional strategic global customers to create customer-focused digitally enabled capabilities to drive close partnership with and for our customers.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead strategic initiatives with McDonald's in the Supplier Digital Advisory Group (SDAG) ( e.g. EDSC, S&OP, SIM, GS1, Amabis) which includes leading a diverse team from McDonald's and several McDonald's suppliers to deliver solutions.
  • Ensure that McCain is compliant with all McDonald's digital requirements including the master data in SIM, PIM and Merlin among other systems. Oversight to administer access to McDonald' systems and maintaining Supplier Hierarchy.
  • Become McCain's expert in digital track and trace to support the global EDSC initiative. Individuals will partner with cross
- functional teams within McCain to deliver solutions.

  • Global McDonald's Business Unti (MBU) liaison with McCain's Global Data and Analytics Team to develop data and analytics in support of objectives.
  • Supporting other customer integration initiatives set by customers and being the thought leader on how we work more effectively with our customers in a digital way.
  • Project management on initiatives for customer focused initiatives.
  • Establish digital capability roadmaps and outcomes/success metrics in partnership with Global Technology delivery teams. Emphasis on supply chain transformation to evolve digital ways of working with customers.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:


  • Customerfacing experience in global customer account teams working on digital solutions and programs. Experience working in crossfunctional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders in support of business strategies. Focused experience working across supply chain processes between customers and suppliers, including enabling digital ways of working.
  • Ability to influence direction and strategy to bring value to global customers and business. Experience as a leader on global customer account teams working across commercial, supply chain and industry experts.
  • Deep experience and strong leadership collaborating with customers and commercial account teams at a senior leadership level.
