Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.

Responsibilities:


  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Provide direct support to individuals with ASD in various settings, such as homes, schools, or clinics
  • Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavior change
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approach
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of client progress and interventions

Skills:


  • Knowledge of medical records and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Familiarity with care plans and ability to implement them effectively
  • Understanding of special education principles and practices
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to autism spectrum disorder
  • Ability to assist individuals with inhalation medications as needed
  • Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and ability to provide support as required
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client behavior and progress
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors using evidencebased strategies

Pay:
$ $25.18 per hour
