    This is a seasonal, temporary position with potential for part-time or full-time employment following the 2024 Summer Season.

    In support of our mission, we are seeking Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associates to join our NYC, NoHo team. Our Retail team creates a transformative experience that inspires a global community. We build connections with our community through product expertise and merchandising, world-class-service standards, and operational excellence.

    We pride ourselves in owning the offline touch point for our community, and use it as an opportunity to create more Away fans.

    You will directly contribute to the store's success by having unparalleled customer interactions and by honing deep product expertise.

    What you'll do:
    Provide exceptional customer service to every person, every timeDeliver a memorable experience to each and every customer in a way that is uniquely AwayRepresent our brand and our core valuesMaintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertiseHelp customers navigate through the shopping, product and sales journeyMaintain the integrity of the space and uphold our visual standardsWork in-store programs and events as neededAssist with any necessary processes and operations to keep the store alive and thrivingWho you are:Excellent communicator with a passion for peopleComfortable working with all types of personalitiesMaintains cool under pressureAn effective and expedient problem-solver with a keen attention to detailTeam player with a "no task is too small" attitudeEnjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environmentPassionate about transforming travel (but that's a given)

    Ability to pull, push, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds throughout the duration of a work shiftAbility to stand/be on feet for extended periods of time throughout the duration of a work shiftAbility to bend, squat, twist, and reach as needed throughout the duration of a work shiftCompensation Package:

    Our pay ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away.

    Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees.

    We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Away to fall healthily within the range based on these factors.
