We are seeking a compassionate and creative individual to join our team as a Staff Associate, specializing in assisting with funeral services.

As a Creative Staff Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting families during their time of loss, while also bringing creativity and innovation to the funeral planning process.

This position requires a combination of organizational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the execution of funeral arrangements, including venue setup, floral arrangements, and multimedia presentations.
Provide emotional support and guidance to grieving families with empathy and compassion.
Coordinate with clergy, musicians, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of the funeral service.
Utilize creative thinking to personalize and enhance the funeral experience, incorporating unique elements that celebrate the life of the deceased.
Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times, fostering a supportive and comforting environment for grieving families.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1 year of experience in customer service preferred
Previous experience in the funeral industry or a related field is preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
Creative thinker with a passion for bringing meaningful and personalized touches to funeral services
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate funeral service schedules
Sensitivity to cultural and religious customs related to funeral practices
