We are seeking a compassionate and creative individual to join our team as a Staff Associate, specializing in assisting with funeral services.

As a Creative Staff Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting families during their time of loss, while also bringing creativity and innovation to the funeral planning process.

This position requires a combination of organizational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the execution of funeral arrangements, including venue setup, floral arrangements, and multimedia presentations.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to grieving families with empathy and compassion.
  • Coordinate with clergy, musicians, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of the funeral service.
  • Utilize creative thinking to personalize and enhance the funeral experience, incorporating unique elements that celebrate the life of the deceased.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times, fostering a supportive and comforting environment for grieving families.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in customer service preferred
  • Previous experience in the funeral industry or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
  • Creative thinker with a passion for bringing meaningful and personalized touches to funeral services
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate funeral service schedules
  • Sensitivity to cultural and religious customs related to funeral practices
