    Senior Service Oriented Architect - SOA (On-Site)

    Cognizant's Digital Engineering

    Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Service Oriented Architect (SOA) with experience developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.     Location: Irving, TX (On-Site)

    Responsibilities


    • Lead the design and implementation of architectural solutions for billing and revenue management systems.


    • Ensure the integration architecture aligns with the business goals and technology standards.


    • Extensive Experience in building and developing Microservice architecture systems.


    • Develop and maintain a service-oriented architecture (SOA) to support scalability and flexibility in services.


    • Design RESTful services and SOAP web services to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration.


    • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand requirements and provide architectural guidance.


    • Advocate for standard processes in architecture including security performance and reliability.


    • Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.


    • Mentor junior architects and developers providing guidance on architectural principles and practices.


    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into architectural designs.


    • Ensure documentation of the architecture and related processes is comprehensive and up-to-date.

    Qualifications


    • 12-16 years of experience


    • Proven experience in SOA/Integration and Web Services (SOAP and RESTful) is mandatory.


    • Deep domain knowledge in Billing & Revenue Management is required.


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.


    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


    • Ability to lead and mentor teams towards achieving architectural excellence.


    • Familiarity with cloud architecture and deployment strategies is highly desirable.


    • A track record of successful architectural designs in large-scale environments.
