- Execute technical tasks to install, adjust, and repair our laser-based Dental Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, both on-site and off-site, after identifying mechanical, electrical, and software failures
- Disassemble malfunctioning dental devices, utilizing standardized testing procedures, to inspect and detect defects
- Replace or mend faulty parts, potentially requiring component modifications or replacements
- Reassemble dental devices, ensuring assembly adherence to specifications, and conduct testing
- Maintain an inventory of materials, including electrical, mechanical, and optical components for on-site customer service
- Periodically inspect devices and test equipment, adjusting calibration for specified standards compliance
- Complete standard equipment documentation and reports promptly for FDA compliance
- Provide clients with accurate and timely technical information in a clear and positive manner
- Deliver training to dental office staff on dental laser setup and maintenance when necessary
- High school diploma/GED
- Prior experience in a Field Service role, with a preference for at least 3 years of experience in solving hardware, software, and medical device problems
- Basic understanding of electro-mechanical systems, with value on lasers and optics knowledge
- ASEE or equivalent technical education
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Capable of independent work
- Physically fit to stand, sit for extended periods, lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs, and perform manual labor
- May be required to provide after-hours support or be on-call
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required
- Experience in technologically advanced Dental or Medical practices is advantageous
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Willingness to travel as necessary, potentially by car or plane depending on location
- Background in field service or copier/printer industry may offer transferable skills for this position
