- Lead efforts to evaluate ADC targets with the goal of producing viable therapeutic interventions, including target prioritization and evaluation of linkers and payloads
- Oversee studies aimed at generating datasets to inform machine learning models of tumor ADC sensitivity
- Lead preclinical validation of prioritized ADC antibody-linker-warhead combinations in cells and tumor models
- Collaborate with external acceleration partners in efforts related to insitro's ADC program
- Provide ADC biology expertise including strategic, scientific and technical mentorship to shape insitro's ADC portfolio
- PhD in a biological science related field (Cell bio, Biochem, Genetics etc.) with 8+ years of industry experience including 5+ years in ADC target or therapeutic discovery and/or development
- Understanding of ADC components, construction and mechanisms of action
- Record of leading project teams
- Experience managing CROs and collaborating with external partners
- Experience working with data scientists / computational biologists /statistical geneticists

Reporting to the Oncology Discovery Therapeutic Area head, you will partner with data science and machine learning (DSML), translational oncology and computational biology colleagues to gain deep insights into the biology and efficacy of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) with the goal of delivering therapeutics to the right patients.
This will be a hybrid on-site/remote preclinical role, with opportunities to lead projects to drug candidate nomination. You are collaborative, creative, and rigorous and will excel in an exciting environment. Our target starting salary for successful US-based applicants for this role is $175,000 - $195,000.
To determine starting pay, we consider multiple job-related factors including a candidate's skills, education and experience, market demand, business needs, and internal parity.
We may also adjust this range in the future based on market data.
This role is eligible for participation in our Annual Performance Bonus Plan (based on company targets by role level and annual company performance) and our Equity Incentive Plan, subject to the terms of those plans and associated policies.
