At the State School Office for the district of Darmstadt-Dieburg and the city of Darmstadt, there is a temporary employment opportunity available as a "School Psychologist" for 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

The employment is limited until August 31, 2024.

The salary is based on pay group 13 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the State of Hesse (TV-H).

In the state of Hesse, 15 State School Offices advise and support schools in fulfilling their tasks. As independent lower school supervisory authorities, they are directly connected to the Hessian Ministry of Education.

The tasks of the State School Offices are derived from the Hessian School Law.

They are divided into four areas:
supervision, service, support, and internal services.

As lower school supervisory authorities, the State School Offices ensure pedagogically and legally appropriate decisions in school and student matters.

The focus is on the continuous development and assurance of the quality of school work.

In the course of their diverse tasks, educational and administrative supervisory officials, school psychologists, heads of the department of educational support, clerks, and assistants work together, whose expertise ensures effective and efficient task fulfillment.
